Brio Solutions LLC is Hiring a Project Controls Specialist - IV (Aviation) Near Los Angeles, CA

Looking for a Senior Project Controls professional to fill in Project Controls IV position. The individual will provide professional support services required to augment LAWA staff in the implementation and completion of individual projects and services. As the Project Controls specialist IV, you will oversee and manage all aspects of project controls, ensuring effective coordination and timely completion of construction projects. Utilizing core skills in construction management software, project scheduling, and project coordination, you will be responsible for optimizing project timelines and budgets. Join our team and lead the way in delivering high-quality construction projects within specified timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for project reporting, controls activities that include planning / scheduling, cost engineering, cost estimating, cost analysis/control activities, change management.
  • Directs cost estimating, analysis, and control activities.
  • Directs schedule development, maintenance, monitoring, impact identification, and recovery plan development activities.
  • Manages team of project controls specialists
  • Monitors consultants/contractors monthly performance
  • Represents project team in meetings with consultant staff, contractors, and outside agencies
  • Supervises in-house and consultant staff
  • Monitors and updates Contract documents
  • Oversees preparation and implementation of Project Management Plans
  • Communicates and implements safety rules, policies, and procedures in support of the client agency's safety vision and goals; and maintains accountability for the safety performance of all subordinate employees
  • Supervises Cost Analysts to analyze, develop, control and report budget and project costs
  • Responsible for project cashflow, commitment plans, funding and manpower plans in accordance with grant and funding contribution agreements
  • Ensures implementation of Client Agency policies, procedures, and plans regarding cost management of multi-million dollar complex construction capital projects
  • Evaluates contract change orders and amendments for impact on budget
  • Responsible for accuracy and consistency of quality of project cost baseline plan and periodic updates to current cost status reports
  • Identifies cost related problems which arise during project execution and recommends corrective actions and creative solutions
  • Responsible for implementing project design and construction schedules to ensure conformance with authorized scope, cost, and schedule requirements
  • Responsible for accuracy and consistency of schedule baseline plans and periodic schedule status reports
  • Reviews and analyzes contractor’s baseline schedule and subsequent updates

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, Business, or other related technical field.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • 20 years or more of experience, managing team of project controls staff
  • Optional Certifications may include AAAE, LEED, PMP, PE, AICP, PMI-SP etc. or any other relevant Professional Licensure or Certifications.
  • Prioritize across multiple projects effectively.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $210,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
