We are a tribal health system in SW Alaska, comprised of a critical access facility and 21 surrounding village clinics. We are the salmon capitol of the world. Currently, we are looking for a Human Resources Director to direct and oversees all operations within the Human Resources (HR) function. PLEASE NOTE THIS POSITION REQUIRES RELOCATION AND THE HR DIRECTOR WILL BE WORKING OUT OF DILLINGHAM, AK.
We are offering up to $180K a year for this opportunity (DOE), discounted temp housing for three months, (which save employees $15K a year approx), annual COLA increases (7% of salary in 2022 and 6% salary increase in 2023), and relocation assistance ($10K).
Additionally, we have no state income taxes and the state of Alaska pays residents up to $3,000 a year, just to reside in Alaska!

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Directs and oversees all operations within the Human Resources (HR) function. Develops and implements HR policies and programs within the guidelines set by top management. Handles highly confidential employee relations issues, serves as a senior consultant and lead role for subordinate HR team members, and manages special projects as assigned. Covers the main HR office in the absence of core HR team members and serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) in his or her absence.
