SES Infrastructure LLC (SIF) is expanding its construction/coatings management staff and requires the addition of a Superintendent in the San Antonio, Texas area to join our dynamic SIF team, a subsidiary of Bristol Bay Construction Holdings LLC (BBCH). Job ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities to include planning and insuring adherence to the project schedule; subcontractor management; coordination with customer, vendors, architects; compliance with contract documents, conflict resolution, safety rules, quality, and security requirements to maximize production and eliminate down time. Individual will be responsible for leading and documenting meetings with subcontractors and customer. Minimum RequirementsCandidates must have knowledge about every stage of the coatings process from scope assignment to project completion. Five (5 ) years construction experience desired.Must be capable of following project cost estimates.Must have the ability to supervise multiple projects and tasks and possess strong organizational, communication and leadership skills. The candidate must be capable of passing a DoD security background check and receiving a contractor base pass as required to work on federal property. Candidates should have 30 hour OSHA Construction Safety Training. The individual must be familiar with the requirements of EM385-1 and OSHA, and have experience in the areas of hazard identification and safety compliance. US Citizenship required.Experience Federal construction experience highly desirable. Must be able to travel up to 85%Physical RequirementsThis position requires the ability to maneuver around work sites, see, hear, and verbally communicate with co-workers and clients. Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining the physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking, or standing for prolonged periods of time; frequent opportunities to move about and to work outside the office environment for extended periods involving exposure to the elements with weather that will include extreme heat, cold, wind, rain or other inclement weather, walking over rough and uneven surfaces, and routine lifting of up to 35 pounds. If required, must properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times including but not limited to; hard hats, steel-toed boots, eye protection, respiratory protection, and hearing protection. Must maintain a constant state of mental alertness at all times. Job is performed in a combination of office and outdoor site locations. The office setting includes exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse.
