Overview

A family based in Sacramento is seeking a full-time live-in nanny for their 3-year-old, 1-year-old, and 4-month-old, starting in August 2024. The schedule will be 40 hours per week, from 4:30 pm-8:30 pm Monday through Friday, then 9:00 am-7:00 pm on both Saturday and Sunday.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize the safety and well-being of the children at all times
• The candidate will be primarily responsible for the 1-year-old and 4 month old but it could fluctuate from time to time
• Simple food prep when required (otherwise a chef stocks the fridge 2 x per week)
• If the children are at school, help with groceries is much appreciated
• Travel domestically with the family - likely 1 x a weekend or weekday every 2-3 months. Nothing international at this stage

Qualifications

• At least 5 years experience in a similar role, preferably in a live-in capacity
• An educational background in Childhood Education, Child Development, or other relevant field is ideal

Requirements

• US passport, Green Card, or EAC 
• Have a clean and current driving record 
• The family would like candidates to be updated on their Tdap and MMR vaccinations. Flu is a plus
• Be available to start in August

Salary and Benefits

• $30-$45/hr healthcare
• The family is in the process of building a separate guest house, which will have a kitchen, living room, bedroom/bathroom, and laundry facilities. Alternatively, they have a home 1 house over from theirs that has private living quarters as well - the candidate may choose where they prefer to live
