Overview

A high-profile family on the Upper East Side is seeking a full-time executive housekeeper for their spacious 2-bedroom apartment. The schedule will be Monday through Friday from 9:00am-5:00pm, and the role will start in September. The family spend July in the Hamptons but the candidate will not be required to join them.

Responsibilities

• Look after the cleanliness of the apartment but also the orderliness.
• Some food prep, like chopping vegetables etc. (not actual cooking).
• Be flexible and open minded to watch the children (aged 7 and 9 years), if the family is unable to find another babysitter. This will only be very occasionally and not a key part of the job.

Qualifications

• Must be an expert laundress, have experience working in homes with art, sculptures etc. and a very high attention to detail. 
• Superlative, verifiable, and preferably long-term references 
• Must be reliable, trustworthy, supremely professional, with a solid moral compass and a kind, warm demeanor

Requirements

• US passport, Green Card or EAC 
• This is a formal home, so experience working in a formal, fully-staffed home is required.
• Available to start in September

Salary and Benefits

• $40-$45 /hr plus healthcare, and overtime after 40 hours.
