Their mission is to support transformative innovations in areas such as AI, robotics, quantum computing, biotech, and more.

As an experienced DeepTech Investment Professional, you will play a critical role in identifying, evaluating, and supporting promising DeepTech startups. You will leverage your technical expertise and investment acumen to drive the growth of their portfolio companies and contribute to the advancement of groundbreaking technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and assess potential investment opportunities in DeepTech sectors across Europe. Conduct thorough due diligence, including market analysis, competitive landscape evaluation, and technical feasibility assessments.
• Lead investment transactions from end to end, including negotiation of term sheets, conducting financial modeling, and coordinating legal documentation.
• Provide strategic guidance and support to portfolio companies. Assist in business development, fundraising efforts, and scaling operations.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends and advancements in DeepTech sectors. Develop and maintain a robust network within the DeepTech ecosystem, including entrepreneurs, industry experts, and co-investors.
• Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and panels. Publish thought leadership pieces and contribute to the firm's brand and reputation in the DeepTech community.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Venture Capital, private equity, or a related field with a focus on DeepTech investments. Prior experience in a DeepTech startup or a technical role is a plus.
• Strong background in one or more DeepTech domains such as AI, robotics, quantum computing, or biotech. Advanced degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., MSc, PhD) is highly desirable.
• Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills with a strong ability to evaluate complex technologies and business models.
• Established network within the European DeepTech ecosystem, including entrepreneurs, researchers, and industry experts.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Fluency in English and German is required; other European languages is a plus.
