Our Client, a dynamic and growing private equity investment firm based in Munich, Germany, specializing in buyout transactions, are seeking a motivated and talented Associate to join their investment team. Their investment portfolio spans various sectors including consumer, information technology, healthcare, and other high-growth industries. Team is dedicated to identifying and nurturing opportunities that create significant value for their investors and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough due diligence and financial analysis of potential investment opportunities. Prepare detailed investment memoranda and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Perform market and industry research to identify emerging trends and attractive investment sectors.
• Support all aspects of deal execution including financial modeling, valuation, negotiation, and transaction structuring.
• Assist in the management and monitoring of portfolio companies. Work closely with senior team members to implement strategic initiatives and drive value creation.
• Build and maintain relationships with industry experts, advisors, and potential partners to support deal sourcing and business development efforts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
• 2-4 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, consulting, or a related field. Experience in buyout transactions is highly desirable.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
