With the support of a SLP, SLPA's will provide individual screenings or assessments of language, voice, fluency, articulation, or hearing at children's homes or during group programs. The Brockton Early Childhood Intervention Program is a public health program that provides therapeutic support to infants and toddlers who have developmental delays or are at risk for such delays. The goal of the program is to help children as soon as possible so they can reach their full potential. Services include speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and skill development.
Must be a licensed SLPA (Speech and Language Pathology Assistant) in the state of Massachusetts. Must possess a valid driver's license in state of residence and have own means of transportation.
General Statement of Duties: Provide services to children with a wide variety of confirmed or suspected developmental disabilities.
