Position Overview:The Brockton Public Schools is seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and innovative Instrumental and General Music teacher at the Davis K-8 School. Responsibilities:-Develop and implement engaging instruction for general music classes (K, 1, 2 & 4), catering to diverse learning styles and abilities.-Provide pullout lessons on all instruments for 5th and 6th grade instrumental students.-Conduct elementary and middle school band rehearsals, guiding students in appropriate instrument techniques and ensemble performance skills.-Organize and oversee performances, concerts, and events showcasing students' musical talents.-Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and respect among students.Philosophy Statement: The philosophy of the Brockton Public School Music Department is rooted in the belief that music is an essential component of a well-rounded education.
