BroCoTec, a leading Managed Service Provider (MSP) headquartered in Houston, TX, is expanding its sales team and seeking a proactive and results-driven individual to fill the role of Sales Development Representative (SDR). This position represents an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to kickstart their sales career within a dynamic and growing company. As a part of our sales team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our sales efforts by generating qualified leads and nurturing prospects through strategic outreach and engagement.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead Generation:

- Conduct outbound prospecting activities to generate new leads and opportunities for the sales team.

- Utilize various channels, including phone calls, emails, social media, and networking, to identify and engage with potential prospects.

- Collaborate closely with the Marketing Specialist to align outreach efforts and maximize lead generation.

2. Relationship Building:

- Establish and maintain relationships with prospects through effective communication and rapport-building techniques.

- Work closely with the Marketing Specialist to ensure consistent messaging and coordination of follow-up activities.

- Coordinate with the rest of the sales team to transition qualified leads for further engagement and conversion.

3. Sales Enablement:

- Collaborate with the Marketing Specialist to understand campaign objectives and messaging.

- Provide support in preparing sales collateral, presentations, and proposals for prospect meetings and discussions.

- Assist in scheduling and coordinating meetings, demos, and follow-up activities with qualified leads identified through direct mail campaigns.

4. Pipeline Management:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospect interactions and activities in the CRM system.

- Coordinate with the Marketing Specialist to track and measure the effectiveness of combined outreach efforts.

- Work collaboratively with the sales team to optimize lead conversion rates and pipeline velocity.

5. Continuous Learning:

- Stay informed about BroCoTec's products, services, industry trends, and competitive landscape.

- Participate in joint training sessions and workshops with the Marketing Specialist to enhance sales and marketing skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or outbound prospecting is advantageous.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with prospects effectively.

- Goal-oriented mindset with a focus on results and performance metrics.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.

- Proficiency in CRM software and basic computer skills.
