Essential Duties:

• Perform inspections of all resident units alongside Operations Coordinator. · 
• Bag and tag client belongings in conjunction with maintenance team to complete unit turnovers. · 
• Create and facilitate client workshops such as housekeeping workshop. · 
• Escort residents to appointments throughout NYC as needed. · 
• Distribute pantry items to clients and appropriately record/log the distribution. 
• Maintain a clean and organized storage/pantry as well as conduct regular inventory checks of these items. · 
• Monitor laundry rooms to ensure all residents are adhering to schedules and are in proper locations. · 
• Assist with intakes if/as needed. · Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Coordinator. · 
• Attend and participate in all required agency meetings, staff meetings, house meetings, etc. 

Educational and Experience requirements: 

• High School Diploma or GED · 
• Experience working with homeless or at-risk population preferred · 
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred. · 
• Excellent communication skills · 
• Comfortable working with others 

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to use a computer for prolonged periods. · 
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. · 
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for long periods of time. · 
• Ability to climb five flights of stairs, if required to conduct home visits and/or fieldwork. · 
• Ability to bend and retrieve objects and/or documents. · 
• Ability to travel in the boroughs of New York City and its adjacent counties via public transportation. · 
• Ability to travel for a minimum of 1 mile within a reasonable amount of time and in all types of weather, including inclement weather, if required to conduct home visits and/or field work. · 
• ‘TB Test required with the first 120 days of employment’ for Shelters and Homeless outreach"
