**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced Activities Director to join our team in providing engaging and enriching activities for our residents. The ideal candidate will have a background in assisted living or senior care and a passion for enhancing the quality of life for seniors. **Duties:** - Plan, organize, and implement a variety of activities to meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of residents - Coordinate and lead group activities such as games, crafts, outings, and exercise programs - Develop individualized activity plans based on residents' interests and abilities - Collaborate with other staff members to ensure activities align with residents' care plans - Maintain accurate records of resident participation and progress - Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to promote a positive community environment **Experience:** - Previous experience in assisted living or senior care setting preferred - Knowledge of activities of daily living (ADLs) and long-term care practices - Experience in schedule management and coordinating events - Familiarity with memory care and dementia care practices - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with residents and team members - Background in social work or related field is a plus This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of seniors while working in a supportive team environment.
