Overview:
We are seeking a Certified Dietary Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee the dietary department, ensuring high-quality nutritional care for our residents. This position requires strong leadership skills and a passion for promoting health and wellness through proper nutrition.
Duties:
-Assist in planning, implementing, evaluating, and directing the Dietary Department, its programs and activities.
-Coordinate Dietary services and activities with other related departments (i.e, Direct Care, Housekeeping, etc..)
-Conduct scheduled performance evaluations for each leve; of dietary personnel as directed.
-Interpret the department's policies and procedures to employees, residents, visitors, government agencies, etc... as necessary.
-Monitor the dietary staff for adherence to departmental policies and procedures
-Perform administrative duties such as completing forms, reports , audits, studies, etc., to assure control of equipment and supplies.
-Knowledge of scheduling
-Well organized with strong management.
Experience/Education- Prefer Candidate be a Certified Dietary Manger (CDM)
Must have experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing, care facility or other related medical facility.
