**Job Description**

**Brookfield Properties has an immediate need for a Manager, Retailer Partnerships at the corporate office in Chicago, IL.**

**Our retail group operates destination, standalone retail real estate globally, including over 150 malls in the United States. **Reporting to the Senior Director, Corporate Marketing this position the Manager, Retail Partnerships position serves as an account executive who establishes and maintains relationships with Brookfield Properties retail partner community to support priority new store openings, promote national retailer offers and events, and to partner with the cross-functional stakeholders to strategize and implement key retailer initiatives. The primary goal of this role is to aid retailers in maximizing their awareness and sales in the respective Brookfield Properties shopping centers. This person is responsible for helping retailers develop, manage and execute their mall-related marketing activity, streamline their communication with Brookfield Properties, and overall drive more deals within the Brookfield Properties portfolio.**

****Key Responsibilities:****

* **Establish and nurture relationships with key retailer contacts at the corporate levels to facilitate marketing programs and initiatives including new store openings, demand generation, events, co-marketing and other opportunities**

* **Serve as the single point of contact, managing all key retail accounts and partners on behalf of Brookfield Properties Marketing team**

* **Develop and maintain the overall new store opening calendar and associated project plans in partnership with Leasing; own successful execution of the plans in partnership with Consumer Marketing**

* **Collaborate with needed parties and the Data and Analytics team to establish and gain alignment of success measures prior to the start of an initiative**

* **Effectively communicate across internal (GMs, AGMs, PMAs, Asset Management, etc.) and external stakeholder groups to ensure appropriate socialization, communication, education and sharing of retailer partner initiatives along the entire lifecycle of these initiatives including development, communication, and optimization of established success measures**

* **Develop and ensure effective implementation of processes to achieve efficient collaboration and exchanges with retail partners to support digital programs and initiatives end-to-end, including acquisition of needed assets and approvals.**

* **Establish digital requirements and guidelines for collecting digital assets from key retail partners to support digital programs that meet Brookfields online/digital standards.**

* **Develop ideas, strategies, processes and plans to support retailers goals, e stablish, host and facilitate regular, sometimes weekly meetings with key stakeholders to communicate upcoming events, store openings, launching new tenant offerings in order to align resources and troubleshoot issues.**

* **Partner with Creative Services team to modify retailer assets and artwork when necessary to ensure digital creative standards are maintained.**

* **Maintain retailer assets and associated business usage rules on behalf of the website team within the established, overarching structures and hierarchy.**

* **Lead the mass and specific solicitation of retailer offers for key digital marketing programs; garner traffic approvals from internal teams and retailers prior to send date.**

* **Collect, collate and socialize trend information/new retailer information from applicable sites and creating reports to be distributed to internal disciplines and for team use.**

* **Monitor retailer email and social media programs to identify reposting opportunities for digital marketing assets.**

* **Drive **innovation** across the Corporate marketing teams efforts, helping further establish Brookfield Properties as a thought leader in the REIT and retail industries.**

* **Be an expert in **project management**, managing multiple vendors, vendor types, and work flow from RFIs, estimates/budgets, QA/testing, deadlines and showing impact of marketing efforts and investments in projects.**

* **Other duties assigned.**

**Qualifications:**

* **High School Diploma or GED required**

* **Bachelors degree in Marketing or related field**

* **3-4 years of experience with Retail or Real Estate**

* **2 years of experience with B2B Marketing**

* **3-4 years of experience in Marketing, specifically digital and social media experience**

* **Knowledge of shopping center/retail industry**

* **Ability to develop strategic solutions to problems**

* **Experience planning and managing budgets**

* **Confidence and ability to **cold call** retailers corporate offices to gather contact or other information.**

* **Strong **collaborative** attitude and the ability to balance the perspectives and requirements of multiple cross functional partners and external stakeholders in order to create alignment.**

* **Superior **interpersonal**, oral and written communication skills with well-developed organizational skills, including the ability to multitask while completing projects on-time, simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.**

* **Ability to rapidly digest and analyze data for **reporting** results and performance to stakeholder, providing recommendations on marketing programs, campaigns and strategies in a simple, understandable format.**

* **Strong **creativity** and forward-thinking mindset to see the big picture and long-term opportunities for the company.**

* **Ability to long-term **build relationships** both internally with cross functional teams and externally with retailers and business partners - highly approachable; relatable plus an ability to inspire.**

* **Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point) and Mac.**
