Brookhaven School District is Hiring a Secretary Near Brookhaven, MS

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma
  • A minimum of three (3) years prior job experience
  • Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Hourly rate and time to be established by the School Board
REPORTS TO: Principal
JOB GOALS: To assure the smooth and efficient operations of the school office so that the office’s maximum positive impact on the education of children can be realized
Job Responsibilities
  • Meets all professional conduct standards as set by MS Educator Code of Ethics Standards of Conduct
  • Receptionist for the school principal
  • Performs usual office routine
  • Receives and routes all incoming calls
  • Types and processes purchase orders
  • Types correspondence, schedule appointments, and receive telephone messages
  • Maintains a regular filing system
  • Copies documents as needed
  • Follow all board policies and procedures
  • Maintain regular attendance and is punctual
  • Promote the district’s vision, mission, and goals
  • Performs any other duties as outlined by the Principal
EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy on the Evaluation of Professional Personnel
