Brookings-Deuel Rural Water System is seeking a self-motivated individual whose duties will include, but not be limited to, plant operations, pipeline maintenance, construction of pipeline, equipment operation, GPS equipment and GIS network, customer relations, basic computer operations, alternating standby duties, emergency response and other assigned tasks.

Requirements include a high school or equivalent education, securing a State water certification within eighteen months, securing a Commercial Drivers License within 12 months, a clean driving record, good people and communication skills, basic math skills, mechanical and electrical aptitude, ability to perform heavy lifting, climbing, and working in close confinement conditions. Preference will be given to applicants who hold Water certifications and/or a CDL.
