Brooklyn Global Prep is looking for an experienced infant teacher. The candidate should have demonstrated experience working with newborn children to 2 years old.

The successful candidate will:

• Lead a classroom (infants or young toddlers) in a fun and engaging way using a variety of hands on approaches to learning,
• Support with the cycles of care related to infant and young toddler care including feeding, changing, soothing children and more,
• Able to manage multiple infants at once prioritizing safety and cleanliness,
• Implement an age appropriate curriculum,
• Ensure city and state compliance at all times,
• Additional duties as needed for this role.

Position Qualifications & Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience working directly with infants in a daycare setting,
• Have experience changing diapers, feeding, soothing, and caring for young children, etc...
• Ability to meet physical requirements of position which include lifting children, year-round daily physical activities, and more,
• Experience as a parent, infant nanny, or infant teacher,
• Bilingual in French or Mandarin preferred,
• CDA or a degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred,
• Ability to play an instrument preferred but not required,
• NYS Birth - 2 Certification preferred but not required,
• Certifications in CPR, First Aid and Mental Health are preferred but not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour
