Your Job:

The Brooks Creative Lab imagines/designs/writes/produces creative campaigns & assets for internal and external Brooks partners. Video, print, digital, events, retail, OOH, social, packaging—even porta potties—are our canvas and runners are our inspiration. Our team, which serves as the Brooks agency of record, seeks a Creative Operations & Traffic Manager to play a pivotal role in building and keeping all key functions - including resourcing, workflow, process, and technology – running strong.

We are seeking a curious go-getter that is committed to continuous improvement. Your exceptional process-driven mindset, problem solving ability, and attention to detail and organization will help to shape operational excellence for our in-house creative team. You will play a key role in building and supporting smart frameworks that keep the work moving efficiently and on schedule and staying a few steps ahead of everyone else. This role requires a strong self-driven leader who is invested in the success of the team and sets the bar high.

You don’t have to be a runner, but you do need to gain a strong understanding of the business and be able to roll up your sleeves to solve the creative marking challenges that drive the business. 

\nYour Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the Director, Creative Studio Operations to build an outstanding operations function, with an emphasis on processes, tools, consistency and efficiency
  • Own all aspects of project forecasting and resourcing – in partnership with other teams in the Creative studio to optimize workflow, capacity planning, and reporting
  • Develop and execute health of the work moving through the Creative lab at any time, managing any roadblocks, helping to resolve issues and redirect work at risk
  • Identify areas of opportunity to optimize workflows, introduce tools, or improve reporting, in an evolving effort to improve efficiency and team engagement
  • Develop and document creative processes, decisions logs and other key information to support reliable and consistent workflows
  • Own master creative document development and upkeep across all creative briefs, work orders, and deliverables forms
  • Assess what is currently working and reassess as the company and team evolves with flexible and evolving approach to operations
  • Execute general Creative Lab operations communications and change management, with clear and consistent messaging and reinforcement
  • Manage creative team cultural and education opportunities, award submissions and celebrations
  • Research new ways of working, including building AI into our roadmap
  • Support ongoing administrative needs including freelance hiring and onboarding, documentation upkeep, meeting management and other as needed
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years creative operations, traffic management, process efficiency or similar role
  • Proven experience in managing operations at a creative agency or with an in-house creative team with a focus on strong results and continuous improvement
  • Outstanding knowledge and expertise in all aspects of project briefs, project trafficking, and cross-functional project management.
  • Excellent verbal, visual and written communication skills; adept at communicating and reinforcing key information in a clear and digestible manner.
  • Proactive approach to identifying and acting on ways to improve the work, continually pushing the vision forward
  • Effective at building trusting relationships, seeking, and activating all opportunities for continuous improvement, and refining creative/marketing operations workflow
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and the confidence to present and connect with marketing and business leaders
  • Sound judgment with effective prioritization/organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent interpersonal skills that inspire and build trust resulting in effective working relationships across the company
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive operational efficiencies, informative reporting, and ROI
  • Knowledge of Agile workstreams, staying informed on industry standards, trends, and best practices
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of applications
  • Experience with Adobe Workfront

Compensation: The pay range for this position, based out of the Brooks Seattle HQ, is $90,128 - $135,193 per year. Base pay offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Location- You will spend 3 days per week in our Seattle offices, as we believe our organization flourishes when connections, collaboration, creativity, problem-solving, and celebrations happen in person.
