Director of Social Services
Duties:
- Develop and implement social service programs and initiatives to meet the needs of the community
- Oversee and manage a team of social workers and support staff
- Provide leadership and guidance in the areas of behavioral health, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Collaborate with other departments and community organizations to coordinate services and resources
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
- Monitor program effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of client interactions and program activities
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a leadership role within social services or a related field
- Strong knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices
- Ability to effectively communicate with diverse populations, both verbally and in writing
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
