- Must be at least 18 years of age with one year related experience and/or training.
- The ability to apply common sense understanding in certain situations, and to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Basic computer skills including the knowledge of how to recognize and operate a mouse and keyboard.
- The ability to walk the property frequently while being exposed to outside weather conditions.
- The ability to climb stairs, ladders, and scaffolds; bend, reach overhead, lift, carry, and push as business dictates.
- The ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Obtaining list of vacant apartments that need to be painted immediately and list of prospective move outs in order to prepare work assignments.
- Preparing vacant apartments to be painted (drywall repairs and patches, sanding, priming, etc.).
- Painting of all vacant apartments; may include painting trim, baseboards, ceilings, and cabinets in addition to the walls.
- Ensuring the apartment floors are clean of all paint drips and overspray.
- Overseeing the care, maintenance and inventory of all paint supplies and equipment owned by the property and/or management company.
- Ensuring a professional appearance (uniformed, when applicable, including the employee ID badge) and attitude, at all times.
- Cleaning up all materials from each apartment as well as cleaning tools and equipment.
- Ensuring a timely and courteous response at all times.
