We are seeking a seasoned Data Scientist to become an integral part of our Capacity Performance Engineering (CAPE) team. The ideal candidate will possess robust experience in writing R or Python code and developing ML/AI predictive models within an enterprise-level infrastructure environment. You will play a pivotal role in creating predictive analytics around capacity and waste for usage of their hardware, software, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the CAPE team to develop predictive analytics centered around capacity and waste within the infrastructure space, encompassing hardware, software, and related usage.
- Utilize advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze complex datasets and derive actionable insights.
- Design, develop, and implement ML/AI models to optimize resource allocation and enhance operational efficiency.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, validate models, and drive the adoption of data-driven decision-making processes.
- Continuously monitor model performance and make iterative improvements to ensure accuracy and relevance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning, with a focus on infrastructure or operations.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as R or Python, along with experience in data manipulation and visualization libraries.
- Solid understanding of statistical concepts and methodologies, including regression analysis, time series forecasting, and hypothesis testing.
- Familiarity with database systems and SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
