MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

BT BOCES is looking for a NYS certified music teacher to teach virtually for our Virtual Learning Academy. The VLA is an innovative virtual academy with students coming together from many of our regional school districts. Instruction will include designing and implementing asynchronous work through Google Classroom, as well as planning and teaching synchronous lessons 1-2 a week, depending on the course taught. Although some synchronous instruction might take place during the day (depending on availability), most will be between 3:00-4:00. Teachers should be available between 3:00-4:00 for synchronous lessons and office hours to assist students as needed.
