Position Overview:
We are seeking responsible and vigilant On-Site Security Guard to ensure the safety and cleanliness of our Chevron station in Santa Ana, CA. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to maintaining a secure environment for our customers and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and patrol the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the station, including monitoring and reporting any spills, litter, or other maintenance issues.
- Authorize entrance and exit of persons to maintain security of premises.
- Oversee loss prevention
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances promptly
- Provide excellent customer service and assist customers as needed
- Write detailed reports of daily activities and any irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, or unusual occurrences
- Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary
- Follow procedures for various initiatives, including fire prevention, property patrol, and emergency response.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior Security Guard Experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and the ability to stay focused during extended periods
- Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays
