Broward College is Hiring a Lead Specialist, Campus Technology - Apple Near Fort Lauderdale, FL

Under limited supervision, this position is responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting Apple devices (iPads, iPhone, iMacs, MacBooks) and associated software, and College-wide technology initiatives. Assists College personnel by researching, diagnosing, and correcting hardware and software problems. Works within Campus Technology staff, along with other department staff and vendors. Provides technical assistance to technicians and end-users at on-site and remote locations. Based on demands, evening and weekend hours and trips to other college locations are required.

Minimum Education:

  • Associate degree in Information Technology or related program is required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • An equivalent of experience and education may be considered.

Minimum Experience/Training:

  • Four years or more of relevant experience in supporting end-users, technology devices, and applications.
  • Apple and Batch Scripting

Minimum Certification/Licenses:

  • Required: CompTIA A
  • Preferred: CompTIA Network
  • Preferred: Apple Certified Support Professional

Salary Range:

$57,032 - $67,726 (Salary rate commensurate with education and experience)
