Summary:
Greet patients, verify insurance, authorizations, schedule appointments, answer busy phones, and collects patient payments, faxes, and medical records. Provides financial counseling services, registration, and insurance verification, including payment plan arrangements, Human Resources entitlement program recommendations, financial assistance eligibility screening and recommendations, charge and diagnosis entry, and acts as the on-site customer service representative for phone and walk-in inquiries to support the collection of accounts receivable and to support optimal business office services.
