Join us as a Vendor Compliance Analyst

Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting Vendor Compliance Analyst to join our Core Compliance Team. In this role you will collaborate with BBH personnel in a variety of roles and responsibilities to ensure that the Firm's vendor relationships are reviewed and monitored in accordance with the Program requirements. The role will assist BBH personnel who wish to engage third party service providers and advise on the various reviews and other processes required by the Program, including the preparation of Vendor Service Requests, the proper conduct of due diligence reviews and the appropriate level of ongoing monitoring of the vendor relationship.

Some of your key responsibilities include:

* Review all incoming Vendor Service Requests to ensure that the engagement has been described properly and provides sufficient information to allow the Vendor Management Committee (VMC) to assess the engagement and assign an appropriate risk rating.

* Ensure that all new engagement and ongoing monitoring requests are subject to the appropriate due diligence review process commensurate with the nature of the products/services, the scope and extent of risks.

* Monitor the reviews of in-process requests to address any process delays and other issues beyond the Vendor Service Request reviews.

* Respond to inquiries from BBH personnel regarding the status of their requests and the requirements for successful completion of the requests.

* Review and disposition weekly OFAC & Negative News screening.

* Prepare weekly meeting materials for Vendor Management Committee as well as other communications to firm wide risk management committees, as applicable.

* Assist in the implementation of enhanced vendor risk management system, including training and communication to participants and other program stakeholders.

* Assist the Head of Vendor Risk Management in the ongoing development and enhancement of the Program

* Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of reports and metrics to allow senior management to assess the risks in the Firm's vendor portfolio.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree required

* 5 years compliance or risk experience

* MS Office Suite

* GRC systems experience

* Certified Third Party Risk Professional is preferred but not required

This role is based in our New York City location and is a hybrid role, with three days per week in office.

Salary Range

$75k - $85k base salary annual bonus

BBH's compensation program includes base salary, discretionary bonuses, and profit-sharing. The anticipated base salary range(s) shown above are only for the indicated location(s) and may differ in other locations due to cost of living and labor considerations. Base salaries may vary based on factors such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.
