BROWN EAGLE CONTRACTORS INC is Hiring a Packaging Supervisor Near Saint Gabriel, LA
·Conduct 1st out safety meetings,pre-shift meetings, and safety stand downs.
·Report manning and current operation to on callManager at the beginning of the shift.
·Report Safety or Quality incidents to BrownEagle Upper Management immediately.
·Supervise and train Technicians and Operators inthe safe operation of equipment and procedures in the Micro and Karate Unit.
·Manage employee scheduling, days off, andvacation.
·Coach and counsel employees on attendance,safety, and job performance.
·Accountable for shift safety, productivity,quality, and housekeeping.
·Ensure Technicians and Operators are wearing theproper PPE.
·Assist Brown Eagle Management with investigatingincidents or accidents and make recommendations for corrective actions.
·Maintain open communication with Operators andTechs and assist them with any issues.
·Communicate with the plant any problems withequipment.
·Complete time sheet accurately.
·Maintain Supervisor logbook with daily entries.
·Track employee absenteeism and tardiness inDatabase.
·Audit all equipment inspection check sheets(i.e. hoist) and shift paperwork.
·Ensure proper Operator relief and communicationbetween oncoming Operators.
·Attend mandatory Supervisor meetings andTraining classes.
·Serve on unit and plant safety committee ifrequired.
·Work a flexible schedule.
