- Call on prospective customers and assigned accounts within assigned territory.

- Maintain a database (Salesforce) of existing customers and sales prospects.

- Manage the lead function in Salesforce to insure the salesman are prioritizing the prospecting of new customers.

- Assist the sales person in converting prospects into long term customers.

- The primary use of the database will be to organize customer contact. It will potentially be used by all departments.

- Assist sales people with the preparation of sales quotes when the sales people do not have sufficient time to prepare them for themselves.

- Assist sales people with the requesting and obtaining of quotes for pricing equipment.

- Manage and distribute work ready files and manage inventory in Salesforce.

- Assist in building files

- Work with chassis salesperson to come up with complete unit pricing.

- Advertise work ready units through website, BTE Facebook page, Manufacturer websites and print ads.

- Follow up with customers of the dealership to assure that they are satisfied with the products and services they have purchased.

- Sell heavy-duty bodies, used trucks, trailers and related components.

- Maintains contacts with customers in relation to their requirements; keep current on market and customer trends and document all activity in the companies CRM system.

- Identifies and profiles prospective customers develop and apply strategy necessary to obtain orders, close potential orders.

- Gathers, maintains and provides periodic reports on competitive activity.

- Keeps informed on new products and other general information of interest to customers that will assist in sales efforts.

- Coordinates efforts with outside parts, service, and new and used heavy duty truck sales personnel to achieve full market penetration.

- Will be required to work with other department personal to ensure proper procedures are established and followed in order to minimize errors and improve work flow.

- Work with office personal to create sales, warranty and delivery processes

- Work with service department to create request for service quote including: documentation, specs, and working with manufactures.

- Assist warranty personal in managing relationships with the vendors.

- Assist with demonstrating equipment.

- Travel to visit customers in their place of business to help facilitate the sales process.

- Assist with sales and marketing activities such as surveys, direct mailers, and trade shows.

- Deliver equipment to customers with sales people.

- Possess a valid CDL or the ability to get one in 90 days.
