We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced National Sales Director to join our team and drive a successful sales strategy in the United States.

Position Overview:

Develops and executes clinical implementation plans for the PIPPA and Provizio® SEM Scanner solution. Defines the pressure injury clinical outcomes program, leading implementation programs to maximize market penetration and growth. Supports the commercial team in ensuring opportunities progress successfully through the sales cycle.

Role is initially NA focus with potential for geographic expansion in the future.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the solution clinical implementation program in close liaison with the wider commercial and marketing teams.
  • Develop and lead the solution outcome program in close liaison with the wider commercial and marketing teams.
  • Lead clinical support for all commercial evaluations ensuring opportunities progress successfully through the sales cycle.
  • Support development of training programs/ materials and measurement.
  • Build and manage the clinical implementation team in NA.
  • Build excellent relationships with facility leads.
  • Identify and develop commercial KOLs.
  • Develop commercial KOL speaker programs to support commercial goals.
  • Develop customer case studies for external use in liaison with the marketing and medical affairs teams.
  • Support promotional/commercial activities at scientific conferences and expert group meetings.
  • Develop and lead commercial/clinical presentations.
  • Support gathering market and competitive radar data.
  • Responsible for managing the implementation/outcomes budget.
  • Manage and collaborate with external agencies where relevant.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience within the medical device industry with clear experience in clinical implementation and/or outcome programs.
  • Experience in implementing cloud based clinical, decision support software programs to drive clinical benefits and outcomes an advantage.
  • Experience of working both within the Acute and Post-Acute Care sectors.
  • Experienced in high level presentations and negotiations.
  • Wound care knowledge beneficial.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Solid people management skills are essential.
  • Good command of English, both oral and in writing required.
  • Strong computer software skills, including expertise with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with salesforce.com and/or other CRM tools preferred.
  • To perform all activities in compliance with relevant Quality Management System.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • WOCN certification an advantage

  • Strong negotiation skills -comfortable at a C/D suite customer level.
  • Ability to deal effectively in all business relationships while projecting a positive image of the company.
  • Strong commercial orientation.
