The Instrumentation/Calibration Technician II is responsible for a range of tasks, including preventive maintenance, calibration, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of various circuits, components, analytical equipment, and instrumentation used in research and development, as well as manufacturing laboratory equipment. Additionally, this role involves maintaining the environmental monitoring system and conducting temperature mapping for all laboratory cold storage units.
In addition to the duties of an Instrumentation/Calibration Technician II, this role includes the following responsibilities:
Requrements:
Successful proficiency and competency of all essential functions of Instrumentation/Calibration Technician IIApplied sciences, engineering, instrumentation or industrial automation degree and commensurate experience is required• Basic understanding of small equipment components and functionality • Must be willing and able to work on call as essential staff on nights/weekends/holidays • Basic computer skills (Excel, Word) and good communication skills• Ability to work both as a part of a team and independently• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds• Valid Washington driver’s license
At Bruker, base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $37,000 and $57,000 provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.The base salary for the role will depend on a several job-related factors, including, but not limited to education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge and travel requirements for this position. Full-time employees may also be eligible for a performance-related incentive in addition to a full range of benefits including 401(k) with company match, an employee stock purchase plan, medical and dental plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, employee assistance program and paid time off including vacation, sick time and holidays, and more.
