BRUKER is Hiring a Remote NanoU Content and Program Manager

Overview

Nanostring, a Bruker subsidiary, is seeking a NanoU Content and Program Manager. The NanoU Content and Program Manager will be responsible for both the training content and the administrative care of the learning management system or LMS (Skilljar). The successful candidate will design, develop, and update courses spanning NanoString’s 4 platforms (CosMx SMI, AtoMx SIP, GeoMx DSP, and nCounter). They will collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and other internal resources to create engaging and effective learning experiences. In addition, the NanoU Content and Program Manager oversees daily operation of the LMS, including managing the system infrastructure, ensuring smooth course deployment, and providing excellent user support. This role requires a blend of technical prowess, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of the NanoString customer journey. 

The NanoU Content and Program Manager is a member of the Product Enablement Sciences team, which creates training and education experiences to help NanoString customers use our products and adopt our technology. Encompassing NanoString University, technical writing, and the CX Lab, the PES team works cross-functionally to curate learning opportunities that build confidence. 

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop content for online courses, including scripts, storyboards, graphics, video segments, and interactive elements.
  • Work closely with SMEs and Technical/Field Application Scientists (TAS/FAS) to ensure content accuracy and relevance to the customer journey.
  • Interface with platform leaders to understand upcoming needs and pro-actively plan content.
  • Implement instructional design practices and multimedia tools to enhance learning and retention.
  • Regularly update existing courses based on feedback and product evolution.
  • Analyze platform analytics to measure growth, evaluate effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Administer and manage the learning management system (LMS) and its integrations (SalesForce, Nanostring.com).
  • Provide training and support to internal and external learners on how to effectively use the platform.
  • Manage user access and security, from customers to distributors to NanoString employees.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the LMS and course delivery.
  • Perform regular quality control checks on system architecture to ensure platform integrity and data security.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and legal regulations regarding digital learning environments.

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in biomedical science (or related field). 
  • Demonstrated expertise in areas including biological imaging and/or immunochemistry, gene expression, multiplex assays, protein biochemistry, flow cytometry, and Next Generation Sequencing.
  • Demonstrated experience with NanoString products and customers is preferred. 
  • Experience developing teaching materials or curricula on complex scientific topics using a variety of media.
  • Experience with multimedia and web-based tools for online course development (e.g., Articulate, Camtasia, Auphonic). 
  • Experience administering an online learning platform or LMS (e.g., Skilljar, Blackboard, Canvas).
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a different working environments. 
  • Experience in training and support: able to convey technical information in an accessible manner.
  • Excellent organization, communication skills (verbal and written), and attention to detail.
  • Self-driven; able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Proximity to our Seattle, WA headquarters is a plus.
  • Ability to travel, domestic and international, up to 15% (up to 25% if residing outside of the Seattle area for travel to Seattle to facilitate collaboration and content development).

At Bruker, base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $98,000 and $156,000 and provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.The base salary for the role will depend on a several job-related factors, including, but not limited to education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge and travel requirements for this position. Full-time employees may also be eligible for a performance-related incentive in addition to a full range of benefits including 401(k) with company match, an employee stock purchase plan, medical and dental plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, employee assistance program and paid time off including vacation, sick time and holidays, and more.
