Bruker Daltonics, a leading manufacturer of mass spectrometry instrumentation, software, and accessories, has an immediate opening for a Technical Remote Support Specialist focused on our TimsTof product line.The Technical Remote Support specialist will provide technical support for our high-resolution Q-TOF product lines. Focus is on the Proteomics solutions with timsTOF technology coupled by online nanoHPLC, as well as Metabolomics and Imaging solutions equipped with adjacent technologies. The area of responsibility includes customers as well as service colleagues from North America. This position is fully remote. 

Responsibilities

  • Technical support for customers in North America via telephone, email and remote support tools.
  • Technical support for service colleagues in North America during installation, maintenance and repairs.
  • QC sample-based application-related troubleshooting for hardware root cause investigation.
  • Checking of installed software products for compatibility.
  • Organization and coordination of the necessary on-site service visits
  • Coordination of spare parts deliveries.
  • Cooperation with the adjacent departments, e.g. aftermarket, production, product management and application support.

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Biotech, Chemistry, Electronics or related fields or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of analog electronics, high voltage circuitry/circuits, laser technology is preferred.
  • Strong technical skills involving analytical instrumentation.
  • Experience diagnosing and repairing mass spectrometers is an asset.
  • Experience with GLP and working in a regulated environment.
  • Ability to communicate and work closely with Remote Support Team. 
  • Excellent customer focus with ability to reliably respond to inquiries, communicate and interact with customers with a range of technical expertise.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities to meet deadlines within a customer-focused work environment.

At Bruker, base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $67,800 and $87,600 and provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base salary for the role will depend on a several job-related factors, including, but not limited to education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge and travel requirements for this position. Full-time employees may also be eligible for a performance-related incentive in addition to a full range of benefits including 401(k) with company match, an employee stock purchase plan, medical and dental plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, employee assistance program and paid time off including vacation, sick time, holidays, and more.
