Position : Quality Inspector

The Opportunity :

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our Quality Control Surveillance (QCS) team in Houston, TX.

This role involves a mix of office and field work, overseeing inspection and expediting operations at supplier sites worldwide.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality control, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in both office and field environments.

Key Responsibilities :

• Execute Quality Assignment Letters (QAL) and inspection packages.
• Coordinate Inspectors and Expeditors to ensure timely and accurate inspections.
• Perform data entry and archiving of inspection documents.
• Select and manage appropriate inspection and expediting resources.
• Approve post-inspection documentation including invoices, reports, and timesheets.
• Verify supplier conformity with Client processes, procedures, and requirements during Purchase Order (PO) execution related to QCS activities.
• Support the review, distribution, and administrative management of QCS project deliverables.
• Provide necessary information, documentation, and drawings to Inspection Agencies and Inspectors as per the manufacturing schedule.
• Support the implementation of new procedures, tools, and technologies.
• Promote improvements in the knowledge and skills of Inspectors in line with technological developments.
• Assist with inspection hour quotations during project tendering.
• Maintain and support QCS data and tracking systems.

• Pipelines and Piping Systems : Ensure the integrity of welded joints, material quality, and proper installation.
• Pressure Vessels : Check for compliance with safety standards, weld quality, material defects, and proper assembly.
• Structural Components : Verify the quality of structural steelwork used in building platforms, rigs, and other offshore / onshore structures.
• Storage Tanks : Inspect for material defects, weld quality, and compliance with safety standards.
• Mechanical Components : Including valves, pumps, compressors, and other mechanical parts critical to oil and gas operations.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Desired knowledge of SAP software.
• Industry-recognized certifications (AWS, ASNT, API) are highly desirable.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
