Job Title: E&C Commissioning Advisor

Location: Gregory, Texas (On-Site)

Duration: 18 months

Reports To: Commissioning Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The E&C Commissioning Advisor acts as the Company's representative, overseeing the facility commissioning and startup efforts from construction through to final completion, with potential involvement during the warranty period. This role reports directly to the Commissioning and Startup Director or Manager and entails extensive interaction and overlap across various disciplines to ensure comprehensive monitoring of all commissioning and startup activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Rotating Equipment / Piping / Mechanical / Overall Systems:

Coordination and Oversight:

• Facilitate interfaces between CSU Operations, Operations & Maintenance, and Engineering and Construction contractors to support the Project.
• Oversee the installation of mechanical and rotating equipment and systems.
• Monitor the initial startup of rotating equipment and associated support systems to ensure proper operation.

Monitoring and Inspection:

• Closely supervise piping system installations during construction for cleanliness.
• Ensure the preservation of equipment and components in laydown areas and during construction installation, raising awareness of any discovered issues.
• Oversee the initial commissioning and startup of systems and equipment.
• Monitor system turnover sequences from construction to startup.

Technical Coordination:

• Support engineering with technical interfaces among various project stakeholders.
• Assist in coordinating the Control of Work Process, Management of Change, and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews.

Support Activities

• Coordinate work activities related to warranty items as needed.
• Support construction area walkdowns, system turnover walkdowns, CSU punch list identification, and PSSR walkdowns.
• Witness commissioning demonstration tests.

This role demands proactive oversight and detailed attention to ensure all commissioning and startup processes are executed smoothly and efficiently.
