Title: :Radiology Tech (CT) Status: Full-Time Location: Watertown, WI Shift: Monday-Thursday; 9:00 pm-7:00 am OR 1:00 pm-9:30 pm (weekend rotation) Salary: Salary to be discussed with a Bryant Staffing Solutions Recruiter Bonus: :$20,000 within 30 days of start Sponsorship: No visa sponsorships are supported Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiology Technician (CT) to join our team for the night shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating CT imaging equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality patient care, and maintaining the safety and comfort of patients during their exams.
Responsibilities:
CT Imaging: Perform CT scans as ordered by physicians, ensuring images are of high diagnostic quality and meet radiologist specifications.
Patient Care: Prepare patients for CT procedures, explain the process, answer questions, and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the exam.
Equipment Operation: Operate CT imaging equipment, including adjusting settings and positioning patients to obtain the best possible images.
Quality Control: Conduct regular checks on CT equipment to ensure it is functioning correctly, performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting minor issues.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and self from unnecessary radiation exposure. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures for infection control and patient safety.
Documentation: Accurately document procedures, patient interactions, and any incidents in the hospital's electronic health record (EHR) system.
Collaboration: Work closely with radiologists, other radiology staff, and medical personnel to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care.
Night Shift Duties: Provide coverage and support for the radiology department during night hours, including handling emergency CT scans as needed.
Qualifications: Minimum Education:
Graduated from accredited Radiology Training Program
Licenses & Certifications:
Be licensed by the state of Wisconsin as a Radiographer within 6 months of hire
Be ARRT Computed Tomography (CT) registry eligible
Have a current Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
