For more than 52 years, the medical experts of BMMSA have been providing personalized care to patients in the Philadelphia region. Our Heart & Vascular Center is looking for a full-time Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist to work in our Fluoroscopy Suite for Coronary, Peripheral Vascular, and EP. This candidate must have 1-2 years of experience. A part-time candidate would also be considered.

Responsibilities:

- Perform vascular ultrasound examinations using sonography equipment

- Apply aseptic technique during procedures to maintain a sterile environment

- Assess patient vital signs and obtain relevant medical history

- Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to accurately identify and evaluate vascular structures

- Perform diagnostic evaluations to assess blood flow and detect abnormalities

- Assist with cardiac catheterization procedures as needed

- Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures and patient information

- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care

Requirements:

- Certification as a Vascular Technologist or Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS/RVT)

- Proficient in performing vascular ultrasound examinations using sonography equipment

- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, specifically related to the vascular system

- Familiarity with medical terminology and ability to accurately document findings

- Ability to assess vital signs and monitor patient comfort during procedures

- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records

- BLS required

- ACLS required or will obtain within 3 months
