Assist in hospitality and housekeeping related activities when program not in demand
Assist in admin related activities / communications for participants and management
Assist the facilities department in labor related activities for repair and / or maintenance
Assist the marketing / registration for promotional materials / activities and registration tasks
Other duties or projects as assigned by SBR leadership
Abide by policies and procedures outlines in the SBR staff handbook
Qualifications & Training
18 years of age or older
Outdoor recreation and / or previous SBR experience preferred
Excellent team dynamic skills
Ability to learn new skills in multiple program activity departments as listed above
Ability and desire to develop / maintain the skills necessary to operate various SBR venues
Ability to use Microsoft Teams daily for work related communication and coordination
Be or become a registered member of the Boy Scouts of America
Physical Requirements
Up to 8 hours of either standing, walking, hiking, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.
Can pass the physical exam and approved for SBR height and weight requirements HERE
Performance Results
Promotes a safe culture for program activity and driving
Timely with personal / work schedules and is not late more than 2 times during season
Actively engages with team exercises and promotes team health
Regularly demonstrates appreciation to other staff and follows the Scout Law
