Principle Responsibilities
•Provide cheerful and helpful service to all customers
•Operate the Retail Pro POS (register) system
•Process sales, including cash & credit card transactions
•Restock inventory
•Help maintain a clean, organized, inspected, neat, and safe work environment
•Provide camp information and directions to guests.
•Other duties or projects as assigned by SBR leadership
•Abide by policies and procedure outlined in the SBR staff handbook
Qualifications & Training
•18 years of age or older
•Solid interpersonal communication abilities
•Organized and detail-oriented
•Ability to use computer and Point-of-Sale software
•Ability to accurately count cash, make change, count inventory
•Ability to use Microsoft Teams daily for work related communication and coordination
•Be or become a registered member of the Boy Scouts of America
Performance Results
•Accurately count cash drawers at end of day with minimal discrepancies
•Encouraging customers to purchase shelf and counter items
•Develop new improvements to operations in department
Physical Requirements
•Up to 8 hours a day of either standing, walking, sitting, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.
•Can pass the physical exam and approved for SBR height and weight requirements
