Outside Sales Representative @ Wendell, NC
Job Summary:** We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Outside Sales Representative to join our team in the lumber and building materials industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with customers, promoting our products, and achieving sales targets within a designated territory.
**Responsibilities:**
1. Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed sales targets.
2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the lumber and building materials market.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, architects, and other key stakeholders.
4. Provide product knowledge and technical expertise to customers, assisting them in selecting the right materials for their projects.
5. Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers.
6. Prepare and present sales proposals and quotes, negotiating terms and closing deals.
7. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products and excellent customer service.
8. Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
9. Track sales activities and maintain accurate records using CRM software.
10. Attend trade shows, industry events, and networking functions to promote company products and services.
**Requirements:**
1. Proven track record of success in outside sales, preferably in the lumber or building materials industry.
2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
3. Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a drive to succeed in a competitive market.
4. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
5. Technical aptitude and ability to learn about product specifications and applications.
6. Willingness to travel within the designated territory as needed.
7. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
8. Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Pay: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
