Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist attorneys with legal arguments, motions, and case filings.
- Conduct research using existing files and resources for pending cases.
- Draft and respond to discovery demands, such as Requests for Production and Interrogatories.
- Draft documents like Motions to Strike, Proposed Orders, and Evidentiary Objections.
- Handle e-filing in State, Federal, and Appellate Courts; check local rules.
- Prepare timelines, demonstrative exhibits, and legal correspondence.
- Prepare and review exhibits for motions and discovery responses.
- Review document production, including redacting and Bates stamping.
- Create Preservation of Evidence and Document.
- Support firm and office operations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Litigation experience with excellent communication and organization skills.
- Certification from ABA, NALA, or AACP.
- Proficiency in legal database software (NEOS or West Law) is preferred.
- Familiarity with legal terminology and principles.
- Ability to analyze legal documents accurately.
- Strong technology skills and the ability to perform legal research.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and provide exemplary customer service.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
