POSITION SUMMARY:

The Community Relations Coordinator will drive enrollment efforts in both degree and non-degree offerings. Strategically penetrates new market opportunities and serves as liaison between the community and the College. This role will help identify external funding resources and develop proposals to obtain grants and funding for projects and program initiatives. The Community Relations Coordinator will assist with community marketing and customer relationship activities. This role will work closely with the college’s continuing education division to create local programming related to business development and community needs. This position will entail achieving both enrollment and revenue goals to support the college. Due to the nature of events in this role, some evenings and weekends may be required. This position will have a work schedule that is 80% remote.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCES:

• Skilled presenter, possessing excellent written and verbal communication. Engaging, approachable, confident in content delivery, and able to build commitment in audience members.
• Required to use CRM system, Microsoft Office, conduct multimedia presentations, and troubleshoot technological issues as needed.
• Ability to gain commitment in person and by telephone by identifying clients’ needs and presenting what Bryant & Stratton College offers to meet those needs. Must be able to overcome concerns of clients by identifying the right solutions for their needs.
• Ability to build relationships and gain trust.
• Work efficiently through an effective use of time management. Work processes are organized, and tasks are appropriately prioritized.
• Maintains a customer/student and organizational stakeholder-centric approach. Satisfies the prospective stakeholders’ expectations for service; takes an appropriate level of initiative to address the needs of prospective students and organizations. Provides follow-up in a timely manner. 
• Initiate and cultivate employer and community relationships to generate business partnerships, and meet revenue goals, advocacy, and opportunities for the College.
• Market all products of Bryant & Stratton College to employers and key organizations.
• Represent the College at community functions when appropriate.
• Increase community awareness of the College through public relations activities with the goal of continuing to enhance the brand awareness of the College.
• Identify opportunities for revenue and lead generation and maximization of all marketing efforts.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Outside Account Manager experience required.
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with little or no supervision.
