TITLE: Strategist, Chinese Business (Brooklyn Nets, LLC – Brooklyn, NY)
DUTIES: (F/T) Conduct research and gather information to determine potential sales of a product or service. Plan marketing or advertising campaigns. Measure the effectiveness of Chinese marketing, advertising, and communications programs and strategies. Work closely with partnership and marketing leadership to support all Nets Chinese social media and content development initiatives. Based on market research, devise and publish marketing and promotional content for Nets Chinese social Platforms, including Weibo, Douyin, and Kuaishou. Distribute marketing media using distribution platforms such as Tencent, Hupu, Migu, and Titan. Maintain relationship with NBA Livestream in China. Identify and execute various Chinese corporate partnerships. Develop and implement procedures for identifying partnership marketing advertising needs. Collect and analyze data on Chinese customer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits to identify potential markets and factors affecting ticket sales. Seek and provide information to help BSE determine their position in the Chinese marketplace. Foster strategic, partnership marketing: Accommodate Webull Hong Kong Marketing Plan; Create activation ideas for the Chinese market to help renew current partners; and Execute activation plans in the Chinese Market to maintain relationships with current partners. Conduct research on consumer opinions and marketing strategies, collaborating with partners. Measure and assess customer and employee satisfaction. Attend staff conferences to provide management with information and proposals concerning the promotion, distribution, design, and pricing of company products or services.
SALARY: $117,042 – $120,000 per year
REQTS: Position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Marketing, Sport Management, International Business, or related field, and three (3) years of experience in the job offered, as Business Development Specialist, or related. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master’s degree and one (1) year of experience. Full term of experience must include: Digital/social/mobile marketing or strategy, content, and media experience, working with Chinese social platforms; Developing and executing corporate partnerships or sponsorship deals; Management of talent, influencer, brand and strategic partner relationships; Overseeing event planning & activation; and Creating video and still content for social media purposes, including performing on-camera; Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere, Photoshop and/or After Effects. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience. Fluency in Mandarin Chinese (oral and written) required. Remote work permitted within commuting distance.
