Job Description:

• Storage SME responsible for Configuration, Administration and Maintenance of storage platform.
• Administration of storage activates includes VMAX3, VMAX2, Xtremio, Isilon, VNX, NetApp, Panzura, ECS, and vxblock environment.
• Strategic advisor to the client in proposing the best practices and in making key decisions of the Storage provisioning activities.
• Deploy, manage, and support NetApp, Dell/EMC/VCE storage infrastructures.
• Experience in administration of NetApp filers such as creating SVMs, volumes, configuring CIFS/NFS exports and implementation of snap mirror, snap vault replication for DR and configuration of snapshots for local copy using On Command System Manager and CLI
• Storage allocation to new build and existing UNIX, Windows servers/clusters and VMWare ESX environment using auto provisioning on V-max using SYMCLI/SMC.
• Provisioning storage to UNIX, Windows and ESX servers from XtremIO arrays using XMS server graphical user interface and CLI.
• Configuration and management of Cisco Fabric environment. Tasks include creation of device alias, zones, adding zones to zoneset and activating zoneset
• Troubleshooting routine critical issues including threshold optimization, server throughput, ports availability, meeting zoning requirements, one-path down, host not seeing storage and storage management problems
• Create/update/maintain all storage related documentation and diagrams of the storage hardware infrastructure.
• Troubleshooting, monitoring, and reporting on the SAN Environment.
• Troubleshooting complex issues occurring media management components such as Media agent servers, DDB Engines, Disk /Cloud/ Tape Libraries
• Working on Multi-vendor DAS/NAS/SAN/ Storage arrays to fix library issues such as Disk R/W slowness, Abnormal growth, MA/Library/MP offline and mount-path migration issues.
• Responsible for troubleshooting and fixing issues arising out of NAS /NDMP backup, auxiliary copy, IntelliSnap-backup copy.
• Analyzing Operating system logs on windows and Unix MA servers to assist the customer with fixing any environmental issues.
• Upgrading Commvault patches to the latest and stabilized versions
• Troubleshooting backup issues on Rubrik, Veeam and Commvault
• Data migration using DataDobi Minar, Robo copy, rsync from one storage to another storage devices
• Taking backups of AWS outpost vms.
