MARKETING COORDINATOR

Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney is a national law firm with a proven reputation for providing progressive, industry-leading legal, business, regulatory and government relations advice to our regional, national and international clients. 

We are currently recruiting for a Marketing Coordinator in our Pittsburgh office. The primary focus of this position is to provide administrative and writing support for marketing campaigns, events, community service sponsorships, website and intranet content as well as social media campaigns. This is a perfect position for a person who has marketing communications skills and some entry-level experience who wants to learn and grow exponentially with a team of smart, seasoned and fun colleagues.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support marketing plan development and execution through project coordination and writing
• Write and post content for the website and intranet
• Draft and post social media content and coordinate the development of social media visuals
• Assist with event coordination and materials
• Handle community service sponsorship tracking, check requests and logo and ad fulfillment process
• Coordinate design requests with our external graphic designer
• Assist with award and ranking calendar tracking and fulfillment
• Assist with our Alumni program including newsletter writing and oversight
• Support various HR-related and community service programs
• Help to create and edit PowerPoint presentations

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications required
• Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of related experience, preferably in a PR/Advertising agency, law firm, professional services firm, or in a B2b environment.
• Excellent writing and proofreading skills
• Strong work ethic with a “whatever it takes” attitude required
• Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
• Strong experience in social media, particularly LinkedIn
• Attention to detail, solid judgment and decision-making abilities
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
• Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel required
• Past use of InDesign, Canva, Photoshop and video editing a plus
• Skills in web editing software a plus
