The primary function of this position is to produce machined parts through setting up and operation of CNC machines while maintaining quality and safety standards at all times.

ScheduleSwing Shift (Rotation) : Monday- Thursday 5:00 pm - 3:00 am & 7:00 pm - 5:00 am.
Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesThe essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following-
  • Ability to setup, operate and troubleshoot Haas CNC machines.
  • Ability to hold tight tolerances associated with the machining of precision parts.
  • Competent blueprint reading and tolerance understanding, using micrometers, indicators, edge finder’s calipers or various measuring tools to verify part accuracy.
  • Complies with all quality policies, specifications and instructions.
  • Deburrs parts as necessary.
  • Performs routine maintenance tasks on machines as required.
  • Resolve machining or assembly problems through discussions with others.
  • Ability to handle items continuously throughout the day.
  • Comply with all standard safety practices, safety rules, and all Company rules and policies.
  • Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position will not have any supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Must have the ability to trouble shoot.
  • Ability to read and interpret work from sketches, specifications, blueprints and job orders to workers through BOMs (Build of Materials).
  • Must possess a sense of urgency, accountability, and professionalism.
  • Able to work well independently and as a team.
  • Must be self-starter able to multi-task and prioritize workload.
  • Able to use various precision measuring devices to check dimensions against allowable tolerances.
  • Able to read prints, schematics, diagrams, and drawings accurately.
Education/Experience
  • Associated Degree or technical degree or equivalent combination of experience & education.
  • 1-5 years’ experience as a CNC Operator/Machinist.
  • Experience working within a manufacturing environment a plus.
