WDRB/BCI Media is looking for a Regional Digital Sales Strategist, responsible for developing digital sales strategies to increase revenue at WDRB and Hometown Stations. This role involves working closely with sales teams, clients, and internal stakeholders to create and sell digital advertising strategies that meet client needs and drive business growth. BCI Media is a Louisville-based, Digital Agency with a footprint covering several states; offering the right candidate an opportunity to make an impact locally and beyond. This position is based in Louisville, KY with expectations of travel to North Central Ohio monthly. Support sales teams by identifying new business opportunities through market research and prospecting.
Working with BCI Media team, develop effective digital sales strategies for prospective clients to achieve revenue targets.
Present digital recommendations to local clients on behalf of each property and BCI Media.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and objectives.
Review digital campaign performances, ensuring they meet client goals and KPIs. Then working with BCI Media team provide optimization suggestions as/if appropriate.
Regularly review campaign results with clients including insights and recommendations on current campaigns as well as digital advertising trends and best practices.
Train and support local sales teams on digital product offerings and sales techniques.
Stay up-to-date with the latest digital advertising products, trends, and technologies.
Be versed in the BCI Media approach to digital marketing.
Participate in regular sales meetings and BCI Media meetings.
Contribute to the development of sales materials and resources.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
Qualifications
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth individually and in a supporting role.
Strong understanding of digital advertising products, including display, video, social media, and programmatic.
Ability to travel to BCI markets as requested; at least once per month and at least one or two overnight stays.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Proficiency in digital analytics tools and CRM software.
Strong organizational skills- ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Experience, Education & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in digital sales, advertising, or marketing.
Minimum 1-year experience with website analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, Comscore, etc.)
Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint); Familiarity with Microsoft 365 TEAMS and other Microsoft applications preferred
Desired Certifications: Google Analytics (Beginner, Advanced, 360, Data Studio, Tag Manager), Google Ad Manager (Display, Video), Google Ads Certification (various), Facebook Blueprint, Hootsuite, Hubspot, etc.
