Buckeye Hospice Care is Hiring a Hospice LPN Near Dayton, OH

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our growing healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in medication administration, nursing home care, and dementia care. If you are passionate about providing quality patient care and have expertise in urgent care, internal medicine, and sonography, we encourage you to apply.

**Duties**
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Provide nursing care in a nursing home setting
- Specialize in dementia care for patients with cognitive impairments
- Utilize ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding for accurate medical records
- Assist in urgent care situations requiring immediate attention
- Apply physiology knowledge to assess and monitor patient conditions
- Collaborate with internal medicine physicians for comprehensive patient care
-Perform sonography procedures as needed
- Assist with sutures and wound care as necessary

**Requirements**
- Valid LPN license in the state of practice
- Proven experience in medication administration and nursing care
- Familiarity with dementia care protocols and best practices
- Knowledge of ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems
- Ability to handle urgent care situations effectively
- Strong understanding of physiology and its application in patient assessment
- Experience working with internal medicine physicians for coordinated patient care
- Proficiency in sonography procedures is a plus
