We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our growing healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in medication administration, nursing home care, and dementia care. **Duties**
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Provide nursing care in a nursing home setting
- Specialize in dementia care for patients with cognitive impairments
- Utilize ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding for accurate medical records
- Assist in urgent care situations requiring immediate attention
- Apply physiology knowledge to assess and monitor patient conditions
- Collaborate with internal medicine physicians for comprehensive patient care
-Perform sonography procedures as needed
- Assist with sutures and wound care as necessary
**Requirements**
- Valid LPN license in the state of practice
- Proven experience in medication administration and nursing care
- Familiarity with dementia care protocols and best practices
- Knowledge of ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems
- Ability to handle urgent care situations effectively
- Strong understanding of physiology and its application in patient assessment
- Experience working with internal medicine physicians for coordinated patient care
- Proficiency in sonography procedures is a plus
