Concrete Burial Vault Manufacturing Associate

BVS, a Doric Burial Vault manufacturer located in Mansfield, is looking for an individual whose main function will be to assist in the prepping, pouring concrete and finishing of concrete burial vaults.

In addition, this candidate will be cross trained as a Burial Vault Technician, to fill in as needed, on the delivery of burial vaults, the complete set up, lowering of burial vaults, tearing down and assisting funeral directors as needed during scheduled graveside committal services at area cemeteries.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

➢ The setup, preparation, pouring and finishing of concrete burial vaults, cemetery markers and other miscellaneous concrete products. Some other duties in addition to the cross training of a burial vault technician, will include the delivery of misc. concrete products, picking up manufacturing materials, stripping molds, sweeping, cleaning tools/put away daily, property maintenance (such as cleaning, mowing, weeding, plowing or shoveling), detailing hearses/limos for the livery portion of the business and other tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

➢ Candidate must want to work and have good work ethics. Should be punctual, reliable, honest, able to follow instructions, willing to learn, have a clean appearance and able to represent the company in a professional manner.

➢ Valid Ohio driver’s license for a minimum of 5 years with a clean driving record. All driving records are check and monitored by our insurance carrier. If they deem a candidate not insurable, then we are unable to provide employment.

➢ Experience in masonry is a PLUS…..

➢ Must have reliable transportation – GOOD ATTENDANCE IS A MUST

➢ This is a physical laboring position requiring standing, walking and lifting for periods of time. Candidates must be able to lift 75 lbs, have the ability to climb in and out of company trucks, get in and out of burial sites, set up tents/ chairs, etc.

➢ Must be able to work in different outside elements (heat, cold, rain, snow etc..)

➢ Have knowledge of basic tools and their uses

➢ Able to pass drug tests

➢ Company uniforms are provided and must be worn when filling in as a vault technician.

BVS is a manufacturer/supplier of concrete burial vaults/burial services, a distributor of metal burial vaults/services, casket distributor, provider of hearse/limousines services to funeral homes and mortuary transporting for funeral homes in the Ohio area.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
