Job SummaryBB&N seeks a part-time Upper School Math Teacher for the 2024-2025 academic year. This is a one-year role with possible continuation after participation in a search process conducted during the school year. We seek a teacher capable of teaching various levels of high school mathematics. Responsibilities would likely include teaching three sections (courses would include some combination of Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Precalculus, Calculus, Statistics, and/or Computer Science depending on the teacher’s strengths and department needs). The candidate should be comfortable working with a team in designing, innovating, and delivering a curriculum that incorporates skill development, metacognition, and cultural competency and that caters to diverse learning styles.

Salary: $67,500.00 - $100,146.00 Prorated for a part-time rate
BB&N offers competitive salaries and employs equitable and consistent compensation practices. Our compensation strategy prioritizes equity of pay for faculty with similar years of teaching experience. Starting full-time salaries for the 2024-2025 school year typically range from a starting salary of $67,500 to the median 20-year teaching experience salary of $100,146.00 Both of these salaries are exclusive of additional compensation granted to faculty with relevant advanced degrees. The starting salary for any hired candidate is based on experience within salary bands.
