Summary/Objective

This position will work within the Buckner Heavylift Crane Service Division, which is responsible for the daily service of our fleet of cranes on the customers' job sites. This position will focus on supporting our customers and Buckner’s service and maintenance groups to ensure that all information is timely, accurate and transparent inside of service software. This position requires excellent customer service skills, extreme attention to detail, and an understanding of the importance of accurate and timely work.

Job Functions:

· Extreme patience, pleasant, and professional attitude towards interoffice personnel, field personnel, customers, and third-party vendors that are used (mainly during intense/stressful moments).

· Be able to notice disputable charges/problems with invoices.

· Have a better than normal working knowledge of the machines associated with our company.

· Ability to read, understand, and relay information, to its simplest aspect, pertaining to crane specific documents (load charts, schematics, operational books, etc.).

· Ability to clearly express thoughts, concerns, and actions in written and verbal forms.

· Extremely detailed in relaying information and information being received to clearly understand problems or concerns with equipment via phone, email, or video conferencing.

· Must be highly detail oriented with the ability to document small updates and granular details.

· Efficiently operate computer, cell phone, tablet, and their programs. Must have experience working with digital related programs and be comfortable working primarily on a phone and computer.

· Ability to manage multiple mechanics for execution of required services and repairs to maintain a “job ready” fleet.

· Be resourceful to obtain all necessary information needed to complete assigned tasks, including documents, outside/third-party/manufacturers, co-workers, etc.

· Must have high levels of communication skills and a strong sense of teamwork.

· Must be comfortable with public speaking and have strong interpersonal skills.

· Must be organized and able to input/obtain written documentation for conversations, problems, issues, concerns, etc. to withhold accurate information and order of events.

· Ability to recognize flaws/inconvenient engineering and provide possible suggestions on improvements.

· Ability to make sound, stern, and reputable decisions involving coworkers, 3rd party vendors, and customers.

· Effectively contribute content/topics to meetings, gatherings, billing documents, etc.

· Responsible to complete assigned day-to-day office and administrative type duties.

· This position is to maintain contact with all office, customers, and field personnel outside normal business hours as needed and is to be expected.

· Must be open to constructive feedback and consistent communication with management team.

· Must have a strong can-do attitude and the desire to see every task through to completion.

· The ability to travel is required, both in the form of being able to drive for an extended period, as well as air travel.

Education & Experience:

· 5 Years of experience with Liebherr cranes

· Previous management experience is required.

· Outstanding personal and communication skills.

· Ability to work within a fast-paced changing environment.

· Team Player with positive attitude.

· Knowledge of Microsoft Office and windows operating systems.

· Experience with Salesforce or other CRM System considered a plus.

· Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent experience in a related field is considered a plus.
